6TH INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON HYPOTHALMIC HAMARTOMAS
Decoding the Mysteries of HH Syndrome
Presented by: Hope for HH and Hospital Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona
September 4-5, 2025, Barcelona, Spain
For 2025, we are focusing on improving functional studies to understand the biology of HH and mechanisms underlying genetic mutations, the progress of surgical treatments and their results, as well as a better understanding of the challenges of comorbidities. Ultimately, our goal is to encourage future collaborations and establish a roadmap to identify priorities that drive both the science and clinical care forward.
HH thought leaders including clinicians, clinical investigators, translational and basic scientists to participate in the symposium. The group is multidisciplinary representing several specialties including adult and pediatric neurology/epilepsy, neurosurgery, psychiatry, neuroradiology, neuropsychology, genetics, endocrinology, epidemiology, cognitive sciences, and pharmacology. Invitees represent leading clinical and translational investigators from across the globe, including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Germany, Brazil, Japan, China, and Australia. Previous meetings were held in Montreal (2001), Marseille (2013), London (2016), Washington, DC (2019), and Calgary (2022).
