Laurel is mom to two boys, the older of which was diagnosed with HH at age 5. He had one LITT intervention at age 6 that helped reduce his symptoms. He has been left with a few complications like Hyperphagia, AVP-D and Hypothalamic Dysfunction. He is on the Autism spectrum, and he is a prankster who loves to make people laugh. The whole family is very thankful to Hope for HH and the doctors who give him the best life possible.
Laurel has been volunteering with Hope for HH since 2023. She is a Legal Assistant with a 13-year background in law firms, courts, and school settings. She is currently at home with the boys while they grow, living in Tennessee with her husband. They enjoy day trips, hiking, and exploring new places together.
Laurel joined the Board of Directors in 2025 and is the current Director of Support.
