Panhypopituitarism

A condition of inadequate or absent production of the anterior pituitary hormones. It is frequently the result of other problems that affect the pituitary gland and either reduce or destroy its function or interfere with hypothalamic secretion of the varying pituitary-releasing hormones.

Pallister-Hall Syndrome

A disorder that affects the development of many parts of the body. Most people with this condition have extra fingers and/or toes (polydactyly), and the skin between some fingers or toes may be fused (cutaneous syndactyly). An abnormal growth in the brain called a hypothalamic hamartoma is characteristic of this disorder.

A doctor who specializes in the branch of medicine concerned with the correction or prevention of deformities, disorders, or injuries of the skeleton and associated structures.

Orbitozygomatic Approach

A traditional skull base approach used to target difficult tumors and aneurysms that are too complex for removal by more minimally invasive approaches.  This approach involves making an incision in the scalp behind the hairline.
