Panhypopituitarism

A condition of inadequate or absent production of the anterior pituitary hormones. It is frequently the result of other problems that affect the pituitary gland and either reduce or destroy its function or interfere with hypothalamic secretion of the varying pituitary-releasing hormones.

Pituitary gland

A small gland, attached to the base of the brain and controlled by the hypothalamus, that functions in the endocrine system. The pituitary gland secretes many hormones: some control the actions of other glands, whereas others influence growth, metabolism, and reproduction.

Polydipsia

The feeling of extreme thirstiness often associated with urinary conditions which result in excessive urination such as diabetes insipidious.

Precocious Puberty

Also known as Central Precocious Puberty (CCP).  A condition in which there is abnormal function of the pituitary gland or the hypothalamus causing the release of certain hormones too early and resulting in puberty to occur early.
