Hope for HH would like to introduce and send a warm welcome to the newest member of our team – Afsoon Movahed!
Afsoon is joining us as an Intern and will be working on a wide variety of projects. One of those projects will be blogs. She will be interviewing some our families and individuals with hypothalamic hamartomas (HH) along with other informative topics. Afsoon would also like to learn more about the medical aspects of the condition as she is interested in medicine as a potential career focus in the future! How lucky are we?!
Here is a bit of background from Afsoon
Hello Everyone,
My name is Afsoon Movahed. I am a student at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Maryland. I am in the 11th grade. I am the newest volunteer for Hope for Hypothalamic Hamartomas. I will be working with Mrs Soeby on some of the blogs written for you. I am part of the school newspaper and the writing club at Whitman, so I am familiar with the writing process and I look forward to writing your stories to the best of my ability and with the utmost accuracy. I am very excited to be part of your community and I value this internship very much. I hope I can learn more about you as well as learn from you through this internship.
Thank you,
Afsoon Movahed
